Wood and Fiber Science Pricing and Payment

SWST members have access to all full-text electronic versions of current and past Wood and Fiber Science issues.  Online access and 1 printed copy are included in the annual membership fee.  If you are not a current member and would like to join, please submit a membership application


Non-subscribers/Non-members can browse abstracts and Table of Contents for current and past issues of Wood and Fiber Science by supplying keywords. Non-subscribers/non-members can also order articles and publications. Cost per download of full-text PDF is $25.

Subscribers to Wood and Fiber Science have access to all full-text electronic versions of any previously published papers. A subscription site license for an organization, rather than for just one user, may also be purchased.  E-mail vicki@swst.org for details.

Annual subscription price: $250 (1 print copy and online access for one person)

Site Licenses:
$500 for organizations of 2-10 IP addresses– includes 1 print copy and up to 10 online accesses
$750 for organizations of 11-50 IP addresses
$1000 for organizations of 51-100 IP addresses
$1500 for organizations of 101-200 IP addresses
$2000 for organizations over 200 IP addresses
($10 discount for agencies)

Subscriptions are entered on a calendar year basis.

All prices above are currently effective and entered on a calendar-year only basis. Advance Payment in US Dollars is required. Check, Visa, or MasterCard accepted.

Page charges for submissions:
Members: $100 per page
Non-members: $135 per page

Color figures:
Online version: $20 per color figure
Printed article: $400 for the first color figure and $250 for each subsequent one

Wood and Fiber Science, as the official journal of the Society of Wood Science and Technology, publishes papers with both professional and technical content. Original papers of professional concern, or based on research of international interest dealing with the science, processing, and manufacture of wood and composite products of wood or biomaterials origin will be considered.
