The Society of Wood Science and Technology held its 2010 International Convention in Geneva, Switzerland at the
Palais des Nations together with our co-hosts the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe - Timber Committee (UNECE-TC).

The official languages of the convention were English, French, and Russian. There were simultaneous translations. Each session had a North American and a European co-chair.
The UNECE Timber Committee meeting was held October 11-15 with both concurrent and parallel sessions.
